Overview
Brakes wear every time you use them, and Phoenix traffic uses them a lot. We inspect the whole system, show you what is worn and what still has life in it, and quote the repair before we start.
If your rotors are still within the manufacturer's thickness limit we can resurface them instead of replacing them. If they aren't, we will tell you why.

Common questions
Many pads have a small metal wear indicator that squeals when the pad is getting thin. Squealing can also come from glazed pads or debris. Either way it is worth a look before it turns into grinding.
Usually that the pad material is gone and metal is touching the rotor. That damages rotors quickly and reduces stopping power, so have it checked as soon as you can.
No. If the rotors are smooth and above the minimum thickness, they can be resurfaced or reused. We measure them and tell you which applies.
