Overview

An A/C system is sealed, so if it is low on refrigerant there is a leak somewhere. Topping it up without finding the leak just means you are back in a few weeks.

We test the system's pressures and components, find the leak or the failed part, and explain the repair before we recharge anything.

What we work on

  • A/C performance testing and diagnosis
  • Leak detection
  • Refrigerant evacuation and recharge
  • Compressors, condensers and hoses
  • Cooling fans and blower motors
  • Heater and climate control repairs

Signs your A/C needs attention

  • Warm or only slightly cool air
  • Weak airflow from the vents
  • Cold air only while the car is moving
  • Noise when the A/C is switched on
  • A musty smell from the vents
  • Water on the passenger floor

Common questions

Refrigerant does not get used up. If the system is low, it is leaking. We find the leak first so the recharge lasts.

That often points to poor airflow across the condenser, a weak cooling fan or a low charge. A diagnosis tells us which.

Yes, foreign and domestic cars, light trucks and diesels.
